Human Instincts Suck

During my time thinking up solutions to social problems, I had, time and time again, ran into a brick wall that’s called human nature. It is a brick wall in the sense that I cannot change it, only work around it.

If you ask me how I feel about it, human nature is more like an abyss that doesn’t do anything or stare back at me. Many times have I looked into it for too long and thought to myself, “what in the fuck was I looking at?” And then I shake my head.

Maybe, in the future, we will have genetic engineering that can change human nature. For now, I don’t see a way to change it.

Culture helps by selecting what part of it is invoked. It still can’t change it.
