Replacing "Remind Me Later" With Mail Box

tl;dr: Don’t use popup windows to prompt user decision. Instead, write letters like a civilized application.

Do you know those “Yes/No/Remind Me Later” popups? Don’t do that. Maybe the user can’t or doesn’t want to make a choice now, but the choice is important so they must make a choice.

(Paper) Mail has this pacing problem long solved. It’s called a mail box. The recipient can reply to the mail whenever.

Add one to your application, and call it “Notification Center” or whatever.

This UI suggestion applies to game tutorials as well. I hate games that show a lot of tutorials and later nowhere to be found when I actually need to read it. Solution: Put the tutorial messages in a mail box in chronological order, so the user can look up old messages easily.
