Possibility is existence of thought

In the eureka article, I pointed out that if time travel is possible (not that it is practical in engineering, just that some arrangement of particles may create such a device), the universe might be type checking all of our thoughts to prevent causality from forming a loop. We might see this as the universe protecting itself from harm.

On the other hand, it means that we have the license to think about anything, with a license granted by the universe. It makes no sense to me that some people are afraid to think about certain topics in fear of oppression by violence. In practice, if you don’t speak, no one can take the freedom of thought away from you.

Before something is realized, there is a war happening in the unconscious realm, where proto thoughts compete. Only the winner is accepted into the conscious realm. The battle happens with super light speed. It is not too detached from reality to imagine that this kind of battle happens all the time, simultaneously across the whole universe. We may hypothesize that the common folk not delved into the sea of philosophy is affected by the battle of existence gravely, that they are not capable of forming much original thought.

From the physical standpoint, a thought of something possibly real also exists in the physical realm. We may say that just by thinking about something, we bring an imagination of it into existence. When we forget about it, it disappears. I shall hypothesize that the universe may have a limit of thought density. If that’s the case, we shall all forget about unnecessary memory. When we yield our memory to the universe, the universe gains more possibility to be generated. “the universe” here means [everything other than your experience].

Epicurus has said that supernatural images we see are images (fragments of information) bouncing around inside the cosmos and hit us by chance. Then, our subconscious mind fill in the gaps with our knowledge and form an understandable image. This argument of his stems from his belief that religion is unnecessary. Here, allow me to say that forgetting about redundant belief systems is also yielding memory to the universe, therefore it is expected of you. I shall make no claim that one belief system is comparable to another, only that there may be too much redundancy that is detrimental to the precise formation of thought.

So live without worries, as long as you don’t infringe on other’s natural freedom.
