Introspection
Listen to your thoughts. Ask yourself, what do you want in your life, and why? Do this recursively, and it will get to a point where what you want is innate, and the answer to “why” lies in anthropology and biology. There’s where you should stop (unless you want to study biology, of course, but you can hardly change your nature (maybe you can? idk. i tried. didn’t work. you can try to see if you can change your nature. if you succeeded, please let me know because i’d love to hear that.)). Oh, don’t go look around on the Internet or ask for help for “what are the common basic needs”. You will reference this chain of reasoning frequently after you understand yourself to make decisions for yourself, so don’t save time on thinking this time.
Then, go solve those needs of yours. Or don’t. I assume you do because you want to be happy.
The solutions you think up may be unconventional or even considered absurd by your culture. Still, do it. Worst case scenario, who you tried to interact with don’t care about you. Oh, that’s bad isn’t it.
